Poor Man's Trail Mix

Poor Man's Trail Mixes

2 cups oat cereal (Cheerios) 
1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped peanuts

or 

2 cups oat cereal
1/2 cup vanilla chips
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup chopped pecans

or

2 cups broken pretzel sticks
1/2 cup vanilla chips
1/2 cup dried raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Mix any variation together and store in an airtight container.  

I made this once when I was running out of food for my children's lunches.  They loved it so much it became a regular lunch item for them!  I have made this many different ways, but my kids prefer the vanilla chips and cranberries to any other.  For extra fun, I sometimes add M&M's instead of chocolate chips~
